Continuing to serve our industry, Lyndsi was recently elected as a board member of AmericanHort, which is dedicated to uniting, promoting and advancing the horticulture industry through advocacy, collaboration, connectivity, education, market development and research.

“Lyndsi is a proven industry leader. Our members will benefit from her input and guidance based on her experience as a second-generation leader of Loma Vista Nursery, where she has been instrumental in its growth,” said Ken Fisher, AmericanHort president and CEO.

Lyndsi’s dedication to the horticulture industry is one of service and leadership. She served for five years as a board member of the Kansas Nursery and Landscape Association, including as board president in 2016. She is a member of the Johnson County Community College Horticulture Advisory Board. In 2017, Oestmann received Western Nursery and Landscape Association Leader Award and is a member of the Horticultural Industries Leadership Awards Class of 2020.

“We have always been a strong supporter of local, regional and national associations that champion our industry,” Lyndsi said. “It is important to continue strengthening the AmericanHort organization as we rely on their resources for our unique industry. I am honored to give my time and effort to an organization that helps us move forward.”

Lyndsi, along with other new members, will be installed as a board member during Cultivate’21, held July 10-13 in Columbus, Ohio. Additional new board members are Rob Lando, AgriNomix in Oberlin, Ohio; and Steve Mostardi, Mostardi Nursery in Newtown Square, Pa.
